The book delves deeply into a thirty year history of Alan’s schizophrenia describing in detail his symptoms and experiences.

This includes graphic representations of the visual hallucinations that he has experienced and also shows other symptoms including self harming as well as auditory hallucinations.

As a generalisation this book can give the everyday reader a better understanding of schizophrenia and mental illness, whilst explaining the importance and use of anti-psychotic medication within modern psychiatry.
